Reddit-curious anon here!

(Anonymous) 2013-08-14 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
The one that asked about Reddit, from a ways back. I held my breath and jumped in. After a good long while of immersing myself in cute pictures and holy shit and oh my god why would you post that on the internet, I started poking around for more entertaining corners.

I found subs for personal finance, and healthy eating, and DIY and motivation to get off my ass and DO things. (I still think it's funny when a website tells you to GTFO off said website and do something else.)

And so I started doing things. I feel like an adult. Thank you, FS. <3

That's really awesome, anon!

Reddit is kind of a wild frontier -- there's good and there's bad and you can make of it what you wish. There are some things on there that are completely frivolous; and there are some things on there that are despicable. But there are also meaningful things and useful things. You've just gotta dig a little bit for them.

There are a few subrebbits that have been of great service to me. I'm glad that you've found some that have provided you with a similar experience!
