Re: okcupid
OKC was pretty good to me. Being behind a laptop screen was an environment familiar enough to lull me into a false sense of security which enabled me to be more outgoing and adventurous which gave me a little more experience and confidence to bring with me into 3D life.
I didn't go to high school and I just didn't know how to like, date. Since most of my social skills are internet oriented it gave me a chance to get to know people without the awkward RL social anxiety.
I also really liked the personality questioned. I tried other dating sites but in all honesty it saved me A LOT of time to be able to check someone's answers before I messaged them back for like, homophobia and stuff. I tried to be pretty open-minded but there are some deal breakers it's reasonable to be hard line about.
