I start college tomorrow...

AND I AM REALLY FREAKING NERVOUS. 18 year olds look so young to me now (I'm only 27 so idk why I'm freaking out), I'm starting as a freshman (even though I have an associate degree, nothing transferred), and the campus is much bigger than I was expecting. Aaaahhh! ;3;

You'll do awesome! I went to college semester, at 25. It'll be a little odd being one of the older folks, but you won't be the only one and, in some ways, being older makes things a little easier in some aspects.

They will be like fucking children compared to you sometimes. But that's okay! It means they shouldn't intimidate you too much.

Do the grad students a favor, though: don't be that older student who acts like a jerk to the TA because you're older. They're doing the best they can.

You can do it! My granddad went to college on the GI bill, so he was your age or older, and he said it was positive...mostly because there were stupid hazing rituals, but the soldiers didn't stand for any of that shit lol!
