WHY DO THEY ALWAYS DO THESE THINGS ON THURSDAY?!? Never been to one because I can't typically do things on weekday nights.

I believe they do it on Thursday because Friday is when most new movies come out, so it's more convenient for theaters. You take one of the movies that's leaving out a day early and stick this in, then put the new movie in on Friday.

I don't know what your work schedule is like, but if you're in, like, a store job where shifts are pretty random, you could request October 24 off. That's when the next one is.

EDIT: or your school schedule, or whatever it is that fills your nights.
