High fuckin' five, friend. Deadly Premonition's fun quirks are nice, but there's so much more to it than that.

I do love how quirky it is, but I mostly love it because of how goddamn interesting the characters are.

[Picture is the FBI special agent Francis York Morgan from the videogame "Deadly Premonition". He is a man with pale olive skin and curly dark hair cut very very short. He has light eyes, possibly green. He is wearing a gray suit with a light shirt and a red tie. He is holding up a clear plastic evidence bag, with some red objects inside it, sort of like seeds or something?]

I liked Deadly Premonition. And not in the "so bad it's good" way that most fans seem to like it for. I genuinely thought it was a compelling, charming and all-around decent game. And far more fun than most triple-A titles.

Great transcript! Just to clear a couple things up, you're right: his eyes are green and those are red seeds (the original Japanese version is called Red Seeds Profile.) Thank you for the detailed transcript :)

Yes! I was hoping the Two Best Friends Play would generate more stuff like this. And I completely agree with your secret; I can definitely see why people say things like the combat and driving are boring and frustrating, but for me, the game's strengths greatly outweigh its flaws. I think a lot of fans do genuinely like it too, and for good reason. It's amazing <3

The TBFP play through was really great. Their original Deadly Premonition inspired me to buy the game the day it came out for PS3, too. I'm glad they've gotten so many people invested in this game!

IA, it was very entertaining. And that's awesome that their Machinima vid got you to play it! For some reason, I either didn't watch that one or forgot it D: But their full LP introduced me, and hopefully many others, to it. The response has been mostly positive, which makes me very happy. I'm looking forward to DP's release on Steam!

I can agree with this 100%, it was a legitimately amazing game and I loved it to death.

Deadly Premonition is legitimately great. I think you'll find that the general opinion of it lately is your own.
