That would make sense, especially if there's a lot of noise about the homophobia over there. Although now that I think about it, no one on my flist's really mentioned it, which is actually kind of strange.

LJ has been under a lot of attacks recently, on account of being a platform Russians can use to talk about their current issues. :/ It's not some ridiculous keep people on LJ theory.
