To each their own. I find his appearance actively off-putting, but different people like different things. One person's misshapen frog-monster is another person's heartthrob.

Yes, this. Can't stand his appearance either but in no way do I expect my tastes to conform to anyone else's.

Agreed.

He's very talented and his personality is sterling, but neither of those compensates for the god-awful teeth and trout face.

His face actually scares me. I'm not sure what it is. It's not just repulsive to me... It actually looks threatening. And I thought this BEFORE I found out he was the guy playing Hannibal. Now it's 10x worse.
