Same. I actually loved the game up until the halfway mark, but once they started hopping into the alternate dimensions my interest plummeted. It's like...I had no idea why I should care about what happened, since whenever there was an inconvenience they would just go to a different universe.

I loved Infinite, but I agree about the dimension-hopping, it did take a lot of the stakes away. I wanted to stick with the original universe and sort everything /there/, leaving felt like cheating.

Me too! In fact, I don't even know why the dimension-hopping thing was included because (apart from the ending) it had practically no bearing on the story. I think Booker and Elizabeth dimension-hopped maybe 3 or 4 times in the game...and the rest of the time it was used to make health-packs and weapons appear. Which was such a fucking lazy way to use a dimension-traveling concept, and made me question why those items weren't there in the first place. >_>
