Especially when they do it with a creepy false smile and obviously just want to TAKE YOU UNDER THEIR WING AND FIX YOUUUUU.

Why, hello, every single social worker I have ever locked horns with. (I am a terror to behold when faced with this kind of person LOL.)

Yeah, I've never really interacted with social workers in an official capacity, but the ones I've crossed paths with all had that "NO HONEY I KNOW BEST YOU JUST GOTTA REALIZE THAT" thing going on. Even with members of the general public that they're not working with. I'm still not sure if it's something they're taught or if it's one of those jobs that takes a certain kind of person.
