It's misogynistic. It's also prejudice in a number of other ways. Both these things can be true at the same time.

Repeating, "it's bad because it's misogynistic" can kind of tend to lead someone to think that you think something is bad because it's misogynistic, and not because it's a complex issue that affects different groups differently.

But, okay! Tipping is prejudice! Yes, it is the very essence of prejudice. When I'm in a store and someone provides me with exceptional customer service, my desire to see them paid extra for it is definitely because I'm prejudiced against them. It all makes sense, now.
