I just like to pretend he has better fashion sense most of the time?

I just assume that the tunic and furry trousers are standard first-date wear in Night Vale and his usual clothing is closer to what we'd consider normal (or at least what Night Vale would consider normal). Maybe the townsfolk even considered it a little gauche that Carlos wasn't similarly attired, but they're inclined to be kind to him because he's new, and of course Cecil doesn't care what Carlos wears as long as he's there and perfect.

Oooo! That's an interesting thought. The thing is, I'm fine with the tunic. It's just the fuzzy pants! Agh, fuzzy pants. Thanks for that headcanon.

Are they good? I haven't heard of them.

www.thrillingadventurehour.com, and all the episodes are available on iTunes. It's a monthly live comedy show in Los Angeles, done in the style of an old-time radio show and released weeklyish as a podcast (there are multiple segments to each live show, and the segments are released as individual episodes). Stars a lot of people you've probably heard of if you're more celebrity-aware than I am, a lot of people even I've heard of, and a fleet of guest stars who everybody's heard of. Regular segments include Sparks Nevada, Marshall on Mars (a 50s sci-fi/Western parody) and its less-frequent spinoff Cactoid Jim (starring Nathan Fillion), Captain Laserbeam (think Adam West's Batman), Beyond Belief (if Nick and Nora Charles were paranormal investigators; the fan favorite and my personal favorite), and several others that I can't think of right now. Rarely laugh-out-loud funny to me, but always entertaining and clever.

Sounds really interesting. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!
