Looking for prank ideas!

Lately, I've been seeing all these funny photos of small dogs sitting in a pan on a stove -- taken as a prank, by people who are dogsitting.

Now, it just so happens that I'm taking care of my parents' dog while they're on vacation. And I want to do something funny like that! Problem is that she's a golden retriever, so she won't fit on top of my stove :\

...Can anyone help me come up with something fun?

People post pictures of their pets, looking guilty, with a sign that says something like, "When mom wasn't looking, I ate the entire pot roast that was meant for dinner :(" Maybe set up something similar, like surrounding her with one shoe from every pair in the house, as if she ate the others?

Yeah, I've seen those! My mom probably wouldn't technically get it (she's not online very much), but I do like the shoe idea a lot. Thanks!

No, I live in an apartment so I have nothing like that. But hm, now that I think about it there might be one around somewhere -- one of those that are available to use by anyone living here, and those tend to be of the fire pit variety. I'll look for it tomorrow, so thanks for the idea!

LOL, that's a fun idea -- and a good compromise! I'm not entirely sure she'd cooperate, but it's worth a try ;D

Dress her up in shirts and hats and sunnies?

Get her to lay down, surround her by cuttlery and put an apple in her mouth?

Dress her up like a bank robber or rebellious teen and tell them you're worried about the dogs she's hanging out with, they're bad influences?


Put her in a crime scene as the only witness/the murderer?
