They were the "villains". But oh, I wanted them to win so badly! ...Or, at the very least, make it out alive. Together.

While reading a discussion about overzealous shippers I misread "Teen Wolf" as "Teen Worf" and was very confused for a moment.

I wanted to see it at first, but Fandom Secrets made me lose interest. It's probably gonna be one of those things I eventually see at a friend's house when there's nothing else to do. Sorry. Have a bonus Wooper.

I'm currently writing a book series that I hope to get published some day. The only problem is, I know that it will probably never get published or, if it does, it will never have a fandom because the main love interests are both male.

I know that if I make one of the love interests female, I could potentially have a popular adventure/fantasy series on my hands. But I just can't make the change, because it wouldn't feel right for my characters.

Let's face it, homosexual book series rarely (never?) make it into the mainstream and this really upsets me. I feel my series will never have a fandom or any sort of popularity because the mainstream audience doesn't want to read stories about two guys who just so happen to be in love with each other. [sad face emoticon]

I shipped them before I even knew what shipping was.

It's sad that homosexuality is still such a taboo topic, even in the twenty-first century. I don't think kids really give a crap what gender two lovers are. My six year old self always figured: Tigger loves Rabbit, and Rabbit obviously loves Tigger (though he didn't like to show it) so what was the problem? Why weren't they kissing already?!

The Salesman from Image's Severed miniseries reminded me a little of Squee's Granpa Hatey.

I hate how Aerith is portrayed ever since the Final Fantasy VII Compilation.

One of the reasons I loved her in the original Final Fantasy VII is because she was such a sassy, headstrong and confident character. It's a shame those character traits have been replaced with the "generic nice/innocent/angelic girl" trope.

I dislike eighty percent of Disney movies, toylines and merch. I hate Disney's Peter Pan... BUT I LOVE THIS. It's so well written and funny and doesn't talk down to kids. I want everyone to know that Disney Fairies are amazing! I just wish I had the guts to admit my love for it in real life.

I'm twenty-six and I feel like a creep. I don't want people to think I'm into it for "sexy fairy plot" or something like that.

My headcanon reason for why he was still so naive and unfamiliar with humans despite being over twenty years old at the start of the series was that his previous captains before Picard made him work 24/7 and never allowed him time to talk to anyone or do anything fun.

I've noticed a lot of similarities between the Xena/Ares relationship and the Hannibal/Will relationship.

Ares has manipulated and lied to Xena, toyed with her emotions, framed her for murder, and one time tried to have her driven made. He wants to corrupt her to be like him, because in his own warped way he loves her and thinks he's helping her.

The relationships aren't exactly the same, but they're similar enough that I don't really understand why Hannibal and Will's relationship is largely condemned as being problematic and abusive, but Ares and Xena's isn't.

spoilers for Harry Potter

I find it hypocritical that people are unwilling to forgive Snape for his "racist" beliefs or allegiance to Voldemort when Dumbledore himself once believed in the superiority of wizards over muggles, that wizards should rule over them and that any losses along the way would be "for the greater good". Dumbledore changed, but only after someone he loved died -- as did Snape.

I am firmly of the belief that anyone who calls Cinderella a weak doormat of a character (or a bad role model because she teaches little girls that dreaming for things will get you anything you want) doesn't understand the dynamics of abusive/controlling families and how dreaming about a better future is often the only thing that keeps you going on the worst days.

I was sexually abused. When I first encountered Ghirahim, it made me so uncomfortable that I had anxiety problems and quit playing for several days. I think I'm just projecting, but something about Ghirahim rubs me the wrong way and he comes off as really sexual. I recently realized I unconsciously formed a headcanon that whenever they crossed paths, he tried to sexually dominate Link to humiliate and torture him. I feel guilty for thinking such an awful thing about something that probably wasn't even meant to be sexual. Feeling this way made the game more personal, so it was intense to play through. Weird enough, it has actually helped me deal with the abuse I went through. I even grew to like Ghirahim as a character. This is all really contradictory since it's very triggering for me. I'm confused about the whole thing to be honest.
