tomorrow is my last day working at dunkin donuts. it's been a looong summer. happily though, my manager called me in today to tell me that even though I've only worked there for two months (and they don't do reviews until three), if I choose to go back to work there over my breaks and the next summer, they were going to raise my pay! so that was a nice surprise.

on a sad note, this girl who I've always kind of looked up to called out yesterday night when I was supposed to work with her and she was not in at all today (and won't be tomorrow), so I don't get to say goodbye. we weren't close friends or anything so I probably shouldn't be this disappointed...idk. I feel kind of creepy saying it so I kept it to myself haha.

anyway, I wanted to say thanks to you guys for responding when I needed to vent about work this summer. I really appreciate it, and I'm glad it's done!

Hooray!

And I totally understand the disappointment thing. It's just weird to think "hey this person i sorta know; i'm never going to see them again," and then you plan for an official goodbye, and then something happens, and then this random time you didn't even think about ends up becoming the last time you ever saw them.

It's happened to me a couple times with various roommates on moving day.
