Furuba owns my soul. I can see how people sometimes dislike the anime, though. Toward the end of its run, unlike her portrayal in the manga, Tohru began to become a teeny, weeny bit Mary Sue-ish. *is shot*

Everyone seemed a bit too devoted to her. Granted, many Sohmas act that way in the manga, but in the anime, there was even more emphasis on Tohru's greatness and loving her because she's so great. Something like that. ^^*
