I actively prefer socks-on; I hate feet.

That is just unhygienic (yuck sweaty socks and moist feet, fungus heaven) and also murder on the laundry because your socks will get fluff on them from the sheets and need de-fluffed on laundry day.

How is having sex while wearing socks any less hygienic than any of the other myriad activities people do while wearing socks? You make it sound like they're wearing the same pair of socks for three weeks. What if they had just gotten dressed and were wearing fresh socks?

I don't like socks. If I became empress of the world I'd execute anyone found wearing them. You might say that is an overreaction, but I'd also execute anyone who said it was an overreaction too, so that wouldn't worry me at all.
