Jackson says he likes you! Would you like to like him? I could tell him for you. I could be the one who brings you together. You'll fall madly in love, for neither of you will ever have met someone so wonderful, and within three years' time you'll be taking your vows. And I'll be at your side, as your radiant Maid of Honor.

Not long after that, you'll begin speaking of children. Of course, you'll both first want to get settled in your careers, and you'll want to have gotten a house; you're both rather sensible sorts. But soon enough, you'll have reached a level of financial security commiserate with your familial goals and you'll begin the process of conceiving a child. Once the child is born, I'll be at your side, and you'll name me the little one's godmother.

Our schedules will be different enough that I'll be able to watch the child as you continue along your career path. You'll be able to accomplish all of your goals, secure in the knowledge that your pride and joy is safe and sound in the home of her or his godmother, receiving the absolute very best care. I will not have had a child of my own, of course, for then I could not devote myself to yours. And I do wish to devote myself to yours. I do so very wish it.

When the apple of your eye graduates from high school as valedictorian, I'll be there. I'll help her or him furnish her or his dorm room. I'll co-sign on her or his first loan. I'll be in the wedding party when she or he gets married. Just as I had been in yours, so many years ago! And her or his child will view me as an extra grandmother. I'll be a good one, I promise. I won't spoil the little one too badly.

So, what do you say? Shall I call him and set something up between you two? It could be truly beautiful indeed.

I've been seeing this sort of thing in multiple threads, today. Maybe some kind of dare or challenge? I don't know. They're confusing as hell. Interesting reads, but still confusing.
