Some pairings get hate everywhere though, either because of how fucked up they are or because of how batshit the fandom is? That's how I read it, just venting some frustration. Ignoring derision of your OTP can be just as tiring as constantly trying to be one of the "reasonable" shippers.

FOADIAF? Because that is what I want for the critics of my OTP. Of course those critics only came out of the woodwork a couple of years ago thanks to one Spergy little Swedish bastard who kept rewriting wikis and fandom style guides almost 24/7 to support his true version of canon.

Yeah, that type is really frustrating. They put their own head-fanon on wiki sites and TV tropes and edit everything to support their OTP and then sit there like a toad under a bug zapper and jump on anything anyone else puts in that doesn't conform to what they think.

I can sympathize. I ship incest in almost every fandom I get into. I get heartily tired of people who start saying crap like "If you ship incest, you must be an only child" because it shows they fail at separating Real Life from fiction.
