I'm still pissed about one of my giftees never acknowledging the gift I wrote for them. It must have been over a year and a half ago that this happened, and I'm irritated because it wasn't just some cookie-cutter PWP that could have come from anywhere, it was a very specific crack pairing that I agonized over and put a lot of work into making the background and dynamics seem realistic. UGH.

Even when I get a gift and I dislike how it's written, I still thank the person and say at least one thing I liked. It's just common courtesy, man.

Waiting a year before "degifting" seems more than generous.

Yeah, I've gotten a few fills for my requests that made me roll my eyes, but I still thanked the person.

And, yeah, like a lot of people are saying, I once filled a request and have yet to be thanked. Whatever, I had fun writing it, so... d-:
