Not Norwegian, but god I just don't understand why people find this such a difficult concept! Prison should be about rehabilitation, not punishment. Considering, one way or the other, society will be paying for it, why not make it so that these people can re-enter society in a useful way?

I honestly think most people just love to know that people are suffering in prison.
