You've got your wish, nonnie, Moffat is on record saying there won't be any Classic Who messing up his precious little ego trip with the franchise.

/why I won't watch the 50th, after watching every other milestone special over the years.

Same anon: I'd LOVE for there to be Classic Who references and callbacks and stuff. I'm a Classic Who fan through and through, however...

I just don't trust Moffat not to fuck it up. After what he did to the last series... urgh. So much wasted potential. In different hands, I'd be happy for it, but he seems to just be using it as... well, an ego trip, like you said.
