I feel awful, because someone pinchhitted something for me well passed the deadline, but the person who happened to have originally gotten me was not only a friend irl, but the person I got to write for. I was really proud of what I wrote and she never finished hers, which delayed my story getting posted (she never actually ever read it either), so by the time the event closed I was just really bitter and sad over it and couldn't bring myself to read it.

It's been a year-ish now and I still haven't read it ):

The fact that I'd never been big in that fandom (I only joined the exchange for my friend) and lost even more interest over the last year also didn't help, if I'm honest.
