This sounds very much like my own experience. Major depression when i was a teen, which i never did anything with and just... waited out so to speak. A couple of years ago, during my tail end phase of college, it resurfaced.

Honestly, the one thing that helped me, and the only thing that i can recommend is getting yourself to a doctor ASAP. I took some therapy, learned some actual coping skills and the only thing i regret is not doing it a decade earlier. Sure i bounced back from the depression in my teens, but without the proper coping skills there was still a lot of my life that in retrospect i could've handle a lot better if I had known better ways to deal with anxiety and unprompted thoughts.
