Don't need them, but I would be interested in hearing them.

Portal 1 was indeed brilliant. Portal two started to get a bit too male centric (Did we really need Wheatly? Did we really need to hear what Cave Johnson did to GLaDOS?) But I am totally in favour of Portal 1

Never played L4D, seemed really dudebro-ish. Pleased to hear I made the right choice.

Also, I agree with Mirrors edge. A great game. REALLY looking forward to the second one...

Soooo... if you already know of games that aren't disgusting male power fantasies, why did you ask if anyone could name one that wasn't?

I don't think that anon is the OP.

to be fair wheatley was more comedic than anything. i mean i guess they could have given him a female VA but i think he was fine as is. he was incredibly flawed (not as in he was a bad character, i just mean he wasn't a gary stu or anything)

i play l4d2 more than i play any other game bc i play it with my dad a lot but really the only thing that i dislike is some of the dialogue. like some of the characters will refer to the group as "ladies" to be derogatory and that's lame but i think that's less a reflection of the developer's feelings and more a reflection of the character saying them. but that differentiation doesn't mean a whole lot if that kind of language really bothers you. tf2 is the same way with some of the language, and there are no playable female characters (though there are theories that the pyro is a woman, but that's baseless fan speculation). also the player base is horrid. i mute everybody when i join a game.

if you like puzzle games, you'd probably like limbo. the protagonist is male in appearance but it's just a silhouette, and there's nothing sexist in the game.

i know of a lot of indie games/simple ones that are fedora-free too, like eufloria, the ship, etc.
