Sorry if this is a litle rude to ask...

Do you mind if I ask you what parts you used? My old computer burned out last month and I've been saving up for a new one. Got 1k so far but I'm planing on spending as much as 1.5k on this new gaming rig. It's mainly for mmos though (I don't play shooter on the PC).

Meh, I'm not proud.

i7-4770K on an Asus Z87-Pro with an XFX 7970 and 16Gb Corsair Vengeance, in a Silverstone RV03. Plextor M5P SSD. Corsair HX850 PSU. Plus sundry crap like a HDD (2TB Western Digital) and a DVD drive. (Could have saved money by cutting to 8Gb and a 128Gb SSD - or even no SSD - but if you're going to build yourself a Dream PC you might as well go nuts.)

Already had a keyboard, but it was old, crap and needed for a donation so I've bought a new Razer Deathstalker.

(The plan is for this machine to last unchanged for at least five years with minimal upgrades down the line. I think I'm okay; I've got Broadwell as an option if it comes to that.)
