Also class affects how you get treated as does your postcode. I could have died because when I lived in Wales I was given an appointment in one year's time for a matter that required urgent attention and if it hadn't mysteriously gone away by itself (I still don't know why or how), I would have wasted away within months. My body is still damaged but it's not like NHS Wales will pay me any compensation, not to mention their budget is about 2 quid.

Sounds even worse than Australia, given my dodgy experiences with waiting lists and worsening conditions there.

BUT THANK GOD WE ARE NOT POOR IN AMERIKA (or most places... but hey, Thailand's starting to get some universal health care in place apparently, and hopefully many other medium-wealth nations)
