(Anonymous) 2013-08-23 03:22 am (UTC)(link)I see a lot of fics where things will get hot and heavy and the pack will clear out because they can hear and smell everything, and it's just all kinds of weird.
See, I figure at some point werewolves just get used to hearing and smelling other people having sex around them. If you can hear someone's heart beating from across the room, then you're definitely going to be hearing your neighbors' bedsprings squeaking (or, you know, your parents' bedsprings). And scents linger when your nose is as sensitive as a canine's, so your typical werewolf must be constantly surrounded by the smell of recent sex, too. At some point, they must have to just let the trauma go and become blase about the whole thing.
