I liked that she got to use her real accent and they cast her father with the same accent! They're from the Aussie Kingdom!

I don't mind Australian accents generally, and I can't actually remember if her father's grated on me the same way, but it's also partly the WTF factor of...why does Belle (from a French fairytale) have an Australian accent...? And Rumple's got...Scottish? And Snow and Charming and everyone else seems to have...some vague American...? It makes some kind of sense as "oh they're from different kingdoms, of course they'd have different accents", but it's still weird to me.

but Rumpel was the only one in his village with a Scottish accent! (his wife was English but everyone else is vaguely Canadmerican)
