I feel this way about Scott/Allison. I've written fics with them, but I don't exactly ship them. I don't care about their drama.

I do ship Scott/Lydia and Allison/Isaac, though.

Hope you can ship something else soon!

I can understand because they were kinda shoved down our throats all through S1 & 2. I personally love all the Scott/Isaac, Allison/Isaac and Scott/Allison/Isaac fic that's being written lately. I have never shipped Scott/Allison. I find them pretty boring actually, but throw Isaac in there and I'm good :)

Possible Spoilers:

I could be wrong but I think Allison/Isaac is actually going to be a thing in 3B from the preview we got and from things I've read. Scott/Allison is probably still endgame, but I'm looking forward to seeing all of the angst from Isaac wanting to be with Allison and feeling guilty for being with his friend's ex.

I don't think there's any other way one could interpret that preview. It was an odd choice for a preview imo. (Not because of my feelings about Allison/Isaac, but because I would've rather seen one of the new characters or something more tied into the overall story.)

Though I suppose the darkness in Allison, Scott and Stiles' hearts might be a bigger part of the latter half of the season than I've been expecting. I just hope it doesn't manifest in all of them as 'has dreams about killing people'. Maybe that's a specific Allison thing though (probably not; I imagine we'll at least see it from Scott, worrying about losing control), because of her families past (Kate) and her actions while hunting (attacking Boyd, Erica, Isaac, etc).

Yeah, I just assumed the preview was a way to show the darkness they have in them now and how it might manifest. I know other spoilers have said Stiles will have trouble sleeping, so he'll probably have nightmares too. I'm really interested in seeing how Stiles and his dad interact now that the Sheriff is in the know.

I feel like a light has just gone on in my head. I'm not hardcore into Allison/Scott EITHER, but they really just jammed it into our heads the first two seasons, didn't they? No wonder I'm struggling with Allison/Isaac.

(I kind of really hope that at some point Scott loses control and suddenly realizes he doesn't have an anchor anymore.)

I'm struggling with Allison/Isaac because of the whole "stabbing him in the back repeatedly" part. But then again, I hear that Lydia is now dating one of Erica's and Boyd's murderers, so it's not like any of the canon pairings make much sense.

Maybe the DEEEMOON WOOOLF can hit it up with mama McCall now that he's been forgiven.

I don't think the actor who plays Deucalion is going to be back, tbh.

Is Scott/Lydia even a thing, though? I've seen nothing but a few "I ship it" comments after they held hands; haven't really noticed any fic. Actually, I don't think I actively ship Scott with anyone. I like him, and he's grown on me a lot in the past two seasons, but...nothing has stuck for me.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about Scott/Allison. Firstly, I think it happened way too fast; we barely got to know either character as individuals before the two of them started dating, then they became this inseparable couple. Five minutes didn't go by without Scott uttering Allison's name, and whoa did that get old fast. By the end of the first season I was tired of them.

Objectively I thought they looked adorable together, but it didn't do anything for me. Then season two happened, and ngl, they grew on me as individuals and as a couple. But this back and forth is tiresome, and it seems like they've both moved on (or are at least in the process of doing so), and part of me hopes they keep it like that rather than fall back to Scott/Allison later.

I don't have a particular fondness for Allison/Isaac either, and don't like how the show went from trying to make Scott and Isaac bff's to suddenly focusing almost entirely on Allison/Isaac (plus...did Allison ever apologize for stabbing Isaac repeatedly? lol, he got over that fast*), but... I think they could grow on me, if written correctly. I wonder how the show is going to deal with Scott and Isaac's friendship after Isaac and Allison get together; he looked okay with them together in the finale, but I wouldn't put it past the show to go back on that.

Anyway, right now I'm not particularly excited about any of the canon pairings. (I still haven't completely forgiven Ethan and Aiden for killing Boyd.)

*Then again, this show likes to gloss over lots of things.

I think Allison apologized for it when they were trapped in the supply closet together? But I could be wrong.

I think Isaac suggested that she should apologize and she made a joke about her knives (daggers, whatever) and said something like "Would you accept an apology anyway?" Which...is something I guess, but it still feels weird to me that they never set down and had a conversation about that. (It could've happened off camera, but...that shit seems pretty important to me, why wouldn't they show it?)

Scott/Lydia picked up in popularity after the hand holding - I've written two fics with them (one as a side pairing, the other a main pairing) and I've seen a few fics since then. It's not as popular as the other ships, though.

And yup, I'm pretty sure Allison apologized to Isaac when they were in that closet.

Maybe Scott/Lydia will pick up next season. (If they have more scenes together, anyway.) Scott hasn't had many scenes with Lydia that didn't include or revolve around Stiles, right? (Though they DID make out that time. Still, those were odd circumstances.)

Yea, I remember that scene...but it doesn't sit right with me because of how it was played off. Still, I have plenty of issues with Teen Wolf, so...

I never had a problem with Ethan/Danny because as the season progressed, Ethan seemed more and more reluctant to participate in the bad things. However, I was very surprised that Aiden also stuck around and is with Lydia because he was a full participant and didn't even seem to care about Lydia until 3.12. This show. I love it but it has so many problems.

And I thought Allison apologized when they were stuck in the closet together. To me their relationship from that point progressed pretty naturally.

IMO Ethan/Danny was much more believable than Lydia/Aiden because of Ethan's doubts and his affection for Danny. ...But I'm still not loving either of them. Their scenes are cute, but I'm not buying it yet. Hopefully the show will focus on them more in the latter half of the season and that will change things.

Yeah, Aiden's concern for Lydia in 3.12 came out of nowhere.

I really hope Scott/Lydia isn't a thing. I'll ship almost anything on this show, but I'm just not interested in Scott/Lydia. Probably because they're my BROTP.

I don't love Scott/Alison but I don't hate it either. It just is. The problem is that the show has focused on them so heavily as a couple that I can't imagine them with anyone else even though I don't ship them.

So here I am, sitting in my corner while everyone enjoys Scott/Lydia, Scott/Isaac, Allison/Isaac, or even Scott/Allison/Isaac and I just can't see them. I hate it. [sad face emoticon]

I totally agree, OP. The only acceptable non-Allison/Scott pairing is Scott/Stiles. Otherwise, these two need to be together.

I have that problem with official couples in most things. Especially the ones that canon harps on a lot. I tend to ship side or rare pairings as a result.

I don't know, getting Scott/Allison shoved down my throat for two seasons made me so annoyed with it that I'm just happy to see something else for once. I don't -hate- Scott/Allison and I don't actively ship either of them with anyone else. I'm just glad I don't have to be reminded every episode how ~perfect~ Scott and Allison are together.

At the end of S3A I decided not to invest feelings in any pairings for this show anymore.

Same here. I didn't even like them at first but I can't imagine them with other people at all because of the heavy focus on their relationship at first.
