If you're genuinely overweight, and just using her as inspiration: fair enough, assuming that's you're still getting enough nutrients.

However if you're already a normal weight and starving yourself to look like Fantine, please stop - she's meant to look like a dying woman, literally.

Hathaway actually refused to disclose what she did to lose weight for that very reason: she did not want girls starving themselves. She wouldn't want you to do so.

Thank you for saying that! I remember that interview in which the moderator asked her about her amazing diet plan and she looked disgusted and informed him that no one should aspire to look like her as Fantine.

I have so much respect for this woman. She's one of the few Hollywood actors I truly look up to.

I agree. I know she gets flack from people here and there, but I think she has a pretty good head on her shoulders and I like the way she comes off as a person who just genuinely loves life.I also like this quote from her:

“There are people who have said that I’m being brave for being openly
supportive of gay marriage, gay adoption, basically of gay rights but
with all due respect I humbly dissent, I’m not being brave, I’m being a
decent human being. And I don’t think I should receive an award for that
or for merely stating what I believe to be true, that love is a human
