What's your day been like?

Mine's been alright - had a minor freak out when I saw blood earlier before I remembered what it was from. But otherwise, pretty chill.

I had to work ten hours by myself today. I just did some homework for most of it (I regret not taking Java programming in a classroom).

D:! I'm sorry to hear that! Do you get to do at least some fun stuff today/tomorrow?

Gotta go back again tomorrow.

Job hunting is simply dreadful. Someone please convince me this is worth it.

Being able to pay your bills and buy cool stuff is nice, and a job really helps with that?

I like stuff. Stuff is good.

I'm still in the dreadful part myself.

In the same boat

I'm feeling down- I was excited earlier to see friends but by the afternoon I got this massive headache, and my friend never responded about meeting up...

Oh, I hate when that happens [both the headache and not responding when you kinda need to know].

Kinda boring. Got some work and chores done, and sort of played MGRR. Got frustrated after a non-boss battle. I really need to turn down the difficulty when I'm just getting collectibles. :P

I locked my keys in the trunk of my car at the grocery store and had to have a family member run me the spare key. I'm still a little worried that someone is going to get food poisoning.

Tested a new calling system at work today so we had as many bugs and problems as you'd expect(four colleagues couldn't actually dial out until about 3pm today), it was also surprising at how draining it was to not manually dial out. It's going to be weird to adjust to it but hey, no choice in the matter.

Tired! Cooking for a tea party tomorrow. I'm making chocolate florentines and mini toad in the holes in pink bun cases.

I had two job interviews! And I feel pretty good about them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Finally defriended my former best friend from college. Still shaking with anger.

Thank you. I shouldn't be surprised: he's been pretty right-wing from the day I met him (hell, he brought me over to the dark side for awhile), but even after I began finding his view not only offensive, but immoral, I still held out hope that we might continue to be friends. What finally did it was being (indirectly) on the receiving end of his bigotry, and I realize that makes me kind of selfish, but I just. UGGGH.

I saw a swarm of bats on my walk, narrowly avoided stepping on a rattlesnake, and then came home and made lamb chops with mint pesto while watching The Good Guys. Life is pretty good for the moment.

Austin/Central Texas? I ask because I used to live in that area, but have since moved back down to Houston.
