Why does pissing off someone I respect -- anon -- make me tear up and think I'm a terrible person and want to go back to bed for the next week?

Like...you pissed them off anon, or...? 'Cause if it's the former because...well. Pissing off people you like/respect kinda...feels like shit. At least, personally I don't like making them feel bad and when I do *I* feel bad, you know?

I hate pissing off ANYONE. But honestly, as far as natural selection and shit goes, hating and fearing conflict seems like a reasonable and safe predilection.
