Re: Ben Affleck is the next Batman

The film that first turned my opinion on Affleck wasn't any of the ones he directed -- which are all actually good-to-great -- but Hollywoodland, in which he played Superman! (Well not really, but kind of.) In that movie, like I've noticed that in all his "good" roles, he gave a really layered, understated performance, the exact opposite of guys who like to chew the scenery. Now granted I don't know if that would work for Batman but he could surprise you.
