Recently? Dreams. The dream itself is totally nonsensical as usual, but sometimes they give me kernels of really interesting ideas that I can build off of. And it's great, because I get these really out-of-left-field ideas that I would have never thought up consciously.

And oddly enough, sometimes shows or plots I don't like. I'd be sitting there being annoyed at it and thinking 'This would be SO much better if they did [x]' and then I start getting ideas on how I would do it. I'm planning my own version of Romeo x Juliet (the anime) because I loved the core concept but was so disappointed in how it came out.

Limyaael's Fantasy Rants are also good, because she repeatedly demands that authors actually THINK about the logic behind their world instead of just hand-waving it away as a genre convention. WHY are the elves immortal and other races are not? WHY do dwarves only live underground? Just by thinking on the 'why' you can start dreaming up all sorts of ideas and plots that revolve around those ideas.
