Re: Oc/Canon Character pairings...has it been done well?

Tbh, I've never seen it done well. It's always really jarring for me because there's a huge difference between how much attention is paid to the Canon Character and OC because you already know the CC (so you don't need to get to know them) and the OC (because you DON'T know them and the author has to introduce you to them in the story). Even when it's in the background of a story, it's usually a negative for me.
