She is gorgeous, and I even find Karen pretty likable but Amy suffered from so much bad writing it's hard to put her up as one of the great companions.

I liked Arthur as well but I was ready for the Ponds to go.

Yup.

Terribly-written character, but god she's pretty.

I'm not a DW fan, but she looks so cool in this picture. IDK about her personality, but her appearance is definitely gorgeous.

I don't see why this is weird - a persons looks isn't somehow going to affect how well their character is written.

Poor Amy. Under different direction she had a lot of great potential. As it is I DO like her but her entire personality seems to be "loves Doctor, loves Rory, yells a lot and reminds people she's Scottish"... seriously I can't think of much more. And yes she's absolutely beautiful. And even though I like her I'm glad she's gone too... it was time, you know? and it seems like even though it was a "sad" ending she and Rory had their happily ever after so whatevs.

I mostly remember her with tears-filled eyes. All the bloody time, it seems. Like if it was all the actress could do as an acting range.
I should probably blame the writers, but eh.

I really didn't like Amy. She came across as the kind of really attitude-heavy, overly aggressive person I'd instantly avoid in real life. One of my friends is a big fan, and I have to wonder if we were watching a completely different character.

Karen seems nice enough, however.

This is why I don't like her - I'd hate her in real life. It's like the whole world revolves around her (even if that's just the writing), and I can't stand people like that.

God yes, she's beautiful. I could look at her forever. (Well, maybe not forever...)

But I actually liked Amy and Rory a lot, despite everything. I think Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill did the best they could with what they were given and I do miss them. They aren't my favorite companions, but they aren't my least favorite either.

This is pretty much how I feel. There was a fair bit wrong with the seasons they were in, but I still liked them.

I think she's one of the most beautiful women in the world. Everything about her is perfect... but I absolutely despise this character and was glad to see her and Rory leave.

I didn't really like her until right before she left. Which made me sad because I loved Rory.

I don't hate any of the companions, but she's not my favorite.

That said, I don't think she's terribly pretty. I love her hair though, wish mine was so lovely. <3

Pretty but very 2D, I think if she was less pretty she might actually try acting.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who just finds her okay-looking. If she had brown hair would anybody give a fuck? Not that it matters, but while we're on the topic of her looks...

I think she's beautiful as well, but I think Arthur Darvill is just as beautiful.

I liked Rory immediately, it took me a looooong time to really like Amy. Someone mentioned in the comments that she was way too aggressive & I agree with them.

It was definitely time for the Ponds to leave though.

I'm pretty much the same, though I didn't hate Amy or Rory I just didn't really like or care about them.

Each to their own. I think she's gorgeous, I think Karen seems like a neat person - and I adored Amy. I'm definitely going to miss her, and Rory.

she's so plain looking, imo

I think she's pretty - not gorgeous, mind you, but pretty - but her acting was awful in her first season and didn't improve a whole lot over her tenure. That, and Amy was poorly-written.

She's got an extremely limited range as an actress, but she's gorgeous. This is why I'm all "meh" at the whole "But but but the writing was bad!" Yeah, maybe. But I can't see her handling a more nuanced role so... *shrugs*

I feel absolutely the same. I'm glad she left, so now I can hopefully see her play lots and lots of characters I will actually like!
