Lmao. The movie bombs and now she's pretending she had no input in the making of the film? Classic.

What made Twilight popular was because it was a blank slate with a 'perfect' boyfriend any young girl/woman could insert themselves into. It was basically romance wish fulfillment the movie. Harry Potter was popular because it had the "underdog becomes the hero/magical destiny' trope in spades, and a magical setting with all sorts of different slots fans could imagine themselves in.

MI had none of that, so it really shouldn't be any surprise that it tanked so hard.

Especially as the main actress has talked about how she was on set every day, and rewrote the end for the two lead actors when they weren't happy with it!
