Yeah, that's totally fair. I still hold a hell of a grudge because I felt so personally betrayed as a young "Draco Trilogy" reader when the plagiarism stuff came out, and plagiarism in general makes me feel stabby, and then the cyberbullying and just... blech. But I'm not gonna knock my friends who DON'T KNOW THOSE THINGS for enjoying Mortal Instruments. And even the ones who do know... well, I'm sure I like/have paid for things that went to other horrible human beings, whether I know it or not, so it seems really unfair to judge anyone by that.

Ditto people who now work with her professionally; it's entirely possible they aren't in the know or are willing to believe she's changed or *just don't care* because XYZ (such as putting more faith in someone you've actually met and liked than the word of strangers on the internet), and that doesn't automatically reflect poorly on them. So I'm totally fine with holding my grudge against CC, but extending that grudge to people who work with her or enjoy her work is ridiculous.
