This was also my problem at first.

I just started listening to it on my commute to work, and I still can't fully pay attention, but I don't really let that bother me. I've made it through the whole thing, and I'm hooked. But there are some episodes that I could not tell you a single thing about because there were other things on my mind at the time.

BUT I'm cool with that because I'm re-listening and sometimes it's like hearing it for the first time. And sometimes I'm still not paying attention, so if I wanna listen again, maybe then it'll be like hearing it for the first time.

I'm not saying this will work for you, but you might be able to enjoy it the way I have. When I do remember to pay attention, it's always amazing.
