I'd worry more about the fact that most super-pale people wouldn't look good in light green, tbh.

Yeah, that's what I thought. This super light minty green really is a very unflattering colour for pale people. They tend to look like drowned corpses (I should know OTL).

Yeah me too :( It's a pity, I think it's a cute colour.

They would look like a watercolour painting that was left out in the rain.

Yup. Perhaps OP could use the same cut for her dress, but with a different colour. Or just go with a 1920s theme, since this would still be a nod to the Disney film!

(Anonymous) 2013-08-27 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Eh, depends on the hair and makeup. Most pale people can't pull off pale green, but some can.

(Anonymous) 2013-08-27 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm pale and I can pull it off just fine, but I also have red hair so green in general looks good on me.

THIS WAS MY THOUGHT TOO, I'm glad it wasn't just me!

Though I'm sure you could find shades that do compliment you, OP!

I think it depends on OP's colouring, and the exact tone of green. Make the dress in a slightly more yellowish green and it'd work fine for a spring complexion (springs tend more to the lighter brighter warm colours).

That reminds me of the episode of 30 Rock where Liz says she can't wear green because it gives her "witch undertones", then she holds a green piece of fabric against her skin and it tints it green. lol
