Oh yea, I know he gets shipped with lots of people. In Marvel fandom it seems everyone gets shipped with everyone at some point, even if some of the pairings don't have large fanbases. I was thinking more like a 'breakout' ship though. IDK if that will happen or not, and while I'm not craving it or anything it'll be interesting to see how popular the new ships are.

I've never been big into shipping Coulson with anyone tbh, despite my love for the character. I've read a few Fury/Coulson fics and loved them, and a few Steve/Coulson and enjoyed those too, but that's about it.

Yeah, we'll see. Like I said, there's already some murmurs of May/Coulson so... I won't be surprise if it comes out with a strong base (depending of course on what happens when the show actually airs. lol)

And you shouldn't have to if you don't want to. I know I've got characters I love that I can't see with any of their usual suspects. lol (Phil/Nick is love though. ;) lol)

I've seen surprisingly little SHIELD stuff on my tumblr dash (maybe people who are cautious because of ABC or some other reason), so I missed the May/Coulson thing entirely. I suppose people are shipping them because of their interactions in one of the commercials or previews?

I actually don't have anything against shipping Coulson (though Fury/Coulson is def my favorite, out of what I've seen), it's just that no ships involving him have stood out for me yet. And I've never been a big part of the Avengers fandom in general either, so I haven't done much exploration. Maybe SHIELD will change that!
