New person here- Didn't Naruto attack Sakura on the bridge and Yamato had to tell him that "the one who hurt Sakura was you"?

That was the Nine-Tails though when Naruto lost all control. Naruto himself wouldn't hurt Sakura.

Yeah, and the same argument can be made about the effects of Sasuke's curse seal. Sasuke also didn't try to kill Sakura until Sakura tried to kill him first. Bottom line, they all hurt each other in some way.

Oh my god, why do people keep trying to give Sasuke the 'self defense' excuse?

Sasuke is much stronger and faster than her. Sakura was hesitant and couldn't even bring herself to kill him when she had an opening. Sasuke showed no hesitation or remorse.

The fact that he responded to her hesitation with such violence (she was only saved b/c Kakashi and Naruto were around) is bad enough.

Let's recap- Sakura was pretending to join him, he accepts her, then she tries to kill him, which makes Sasuke realize that was her real plan all along. Sooo, essentially he's pissed twice over, once because she tried to kill him and twice because he almost fell for her trick. Her hesitation doesn't matter at that point, it serves as his opportunity to make sure he doesn't get played again. Bottom line? She tried to kill him first.

Lmao, if Sasuke believed her for one second, I will eat my keyboard. He knew it was a ruse, he knew she'd do something stupid, and he was eagerly waiting for the excuse to waste her because he also knew she would fail miserably; you can't be pissed at a game you're playing with a fool. Believe me, I wanted Sakura to be a serious threat to him and cripple his nervous system with a devastating medical justu as much as anybody, but that wasn't the case, and Sasuke always knew it.

Same issue: she came after him, he figured it out. Of course he's gonna do something to end it- this is the 'eye for an eye' guy. If she didn't come after him he would not have bothered with her .
