Have all the parents been seen on the show? Just asking because I don't watch the show but am a fan of Joe Flanigan (was on Stargate) and saw a couple of tumblr entries saying they'd like to see him as one of the parents.

Well, most of the alive ones (there are a lot of dead parents on this show). I think the Joe Flanigan thing was advocating him being the (dead) Papa Hale for, like, flashbacks like they did for Talia Hale in season 3A (as played by Alicia Coppola). I guess he could work for Danny’s dad, but Jason Momoa actually might work better (he would have to play a few years older, though). Or maybe he could play dad to Aidan and Ethan since I don’t think the show has explicitly spelled out that their parents are dead, although the implication is there. But, hey, JR Bourne who played Martouf on SG-1 is on Teen Wolf as Chris Argent, Allison’s dad.

Uh...I like the werewolves? And the humans. And especially the parents. And I'm also totes okay with the ships I like not becoming canon (well, everything but Sheriff Stilinski/Melissa McCall, that needs to be canon), so I suppose that's a yes.

Okay, I'll grant you Stilinski/McCall parents. THAT'S a ship I'm watching and waiting for. But mostly it's the werewolves and the parents still being awesome, whether or not they're coupled (or threesomed).

Yea, IA. Not that I don't like the kids because some of them are quite awesome, but the parents (minus Agent McCall) are just as likable if not (in some, even most cases imo) more-so.

And werewolves are entertaining, even if they all kind of suck at being werewolves...

This seems to always be the problem with supernatural media - most of the audience is in it despite the werewolves and vampires and wizards, while I'm one of the idiots waiting for the romantic bullshit and lessons about friendship to end so I can watch somebody transform into a monster and rip throats out. Spoiler: It never fucking happens.
