Wow, you need better coworkers. I'd be running in the other direction every time I saw him; some people just don't seem to understand the word no. Maybe you should just be blunt and tell him you have no interest in seeing movies with him again? Though that might make your work relationship strained or awkward... Boo. :( Maybe tell him, "Sorry, I have absolutely no interest in ever seeing that movie" next time he asks? (Though maybe you were firm with him and he ignored it. People can be dumb.)

It sadly seems like you know a lot of absurdly persistent people who don't know when to quit. I don't suppose there's any way for you to hang out with this group sans the one girl, right? IDK what I would do in that situation, but after being asked six times I might snap.

Yesterdays secret was probably just a funny coincidence, heh.

Coworker is not so bad. It was kind of a one off with him so I'm not worried there.

The girl I'm probably going to have to suck it up and explain that I don't like bring tricked into things. Otherwise we're not hugely close, I just don't want to ruin the social dynamics :( but having both those experiences within a week if each other broke my poor camels back

I think it is a funny coincidence. I was surprised yesterday Oh here's the bus off I go
