Because Nathan's various emotional issues make me suspect that being in a romantic/sexual relationship with one person is almost more than he could handle right now, and because I can't imagine Duke not feeling shut out by the fact that Nathan can feel Audrey and not him. (I have no immediate "No, can't see it working" thoughts about Audrey.) It might be feasible in the far and Troubles-free future, but not now.
