Spoiler warning for Twin Peaks? Seriously!? Firstly that show was 20 years ago, and secondly it was so screwed up and downright bizarre I'm not sure it is possible to spoiler it due to nobody ever being truly able to make sense of the actual narrative anyway.

Does the spoiler warning hurt you in some way? Why should you care if the secret-maker wanted to protect the three people on the internet who have never seen Twin Peaks, but want to?

There are definitely things in Twin Peaks that are spoilers - in particular, knowing the identity of Laura Palmer's killer in advance is a massive spoiler that will absolutely affect your enjoyment of the show. I don't think the thing in the secret is in quite the same category but it's still a dramatic moment.

And as to your first point, it's true that it's old, but there's a lot of people who didn't see it when it came out, or who were too young and just haven't heard about it or whatever, who are just discovering it now on Netflix etc. It's going through a real resurgence. So there are definitely people who you could spoil.

Honestly, I never watched Twin Peaks when it first came out, but now I'm older and able to appriciated it more and am currently watching it for the first time. I know it's old so if anyone doesn't say spoiler alert, I understand. But I appriciate the spoiler alert on this post, even if I did read the secret.
