that CC had no part in what TMI ended up being on screen? I keep seeing people say it was all that awful man director's fault and how terrible that he thinks young women like this sort of thing, blahblah. CC was gushing about how she interfered in almost every part of the movie, from costumes, to dialogue, to sets, etc. I mean, I know now she's pretending that she had 'no say', despite what she said in an interview/twitter, but still. Yikes.

What are we talking about here?

Basically people defending CC by saying the reason her book adaption flopped was because of a male director who didn't "get" the "female" story CC wrote, when she did have a huge part in what made it to screen. And she's a woman. So to say "omg, it's just sexist" is cringe worthy.

I thought it was Chris Carter and The Mulder Incident. Was wondering if there had been another X-files movie that I'd missed.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one whose brain still instantly goes to Chris Carter when they see "CC." I interpreted 'TMI' as its usual internet meaning and was wondering when he'd said something inappropriate (and why people are still listening to him).

My thought was "Closed Captioning" since Netflix was (thankfully) forced to more broadly implement it.

It's because CC has some sort of magical mind control/hypnosis talent and sways crowds to her own brand of delusion.

Because she's Cassandra Claire and she wrote the Draco Trilogy and that kind of fandom clout never completely dies.
