I guess I can understand the comparisons to Mean Girls, but they are two completely different kinds of humor and tone to me, even if structurally they're similar. Mean Girls never makes me feel good about life, it's a movie to watch with a bunch of friends and quote the whole way through. Easy A I can watch by myself anytime and feel like I got more out of it than some trademark lines. I like the cast more, I root for the characters more, and I like the plot more.

My opinion, obviously.
