Kids don't have the same physical rights as adults do, short of extreme abuse. For example, if I tried to spank an adult against their will, I could end up with a restraining order. I don't actually consider light spanking of children abusive, but, the fact is that kids don't get any vote in the matter until they're adults, even when they're old enough to be aware, and express, that they don't want to be touched.
