I agree. As I think I've said before on here, the goal should be to point out undesirable behaviors, not undesirable physical features. Conventionally-attractive, well-groomed guys can be creepy and douchey, and unkempt, unpleasant-looking guys can be respectful and decent. Physical appearance and social behaviors are unrelated, and we should not treat them as though they are or should be connected. If I want to insult a guy because he's being a creepy asshole, the insult I reach for should be one that targets his creepy-asshole-ness, not his looks or grooming habits.

Yes exactly.

Isn't it also a bit dangerous to start thinking that "all the creeps wear fedoras /trillbies or have neckbeards"? Because really if you assume that someone who's a creep is going to always wear a little symbol or indicator of their creepiness....you're going to run into someone who doesn't fit your stereotype and might wind up hurt.

We need to raise awareness of the importance of looking at people's actions and not judging by appearance.
